Conference Family Information

Welcome Families!

There are some exciting programs offered for families at the 2016 conference.

  • FREE Childcare/Children’s programs on Monday, July 18,  Tuesday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 20 for children 6 months to 14 years of age. Hearing siblings are also eligible for childcare. Families are eligible only if they have one or more deaf or hard-of-hearing children. You MUST register your children for childcare/children’s programs to reserve a space. On-site Childcare registration will NOT be available. High School age students can register and attend the conference for free. 
    NOTE: As of July 12, 2016 childcare/children's programs are full and no longer acccepting applications. 
     
  • Many exciting and informative presentations focused on parent and family needs related to raising/educating a deaf or hard of hearing child.
     
  • FREE Evening Events for Families! Sweets and Stories on Monday evening in Spring Lake B&C. Check agenda for times.
     
  • Spanish translators available for conference sessions. You must indicate your request on your registration form. 
  • SWC 16 flyer to distribute to families  - Please note: The deadline has passed to request dorm space at TSD.
